I am excited to announce that I am running to be our next 5th District Vice President!

We have an incredible district, and I would like to thank DVP Thornberg for his hard work over these last twelve years.  He united us after a challenging time and came through for our members time and time again. His dedication will be missed, and it is up to us to build on what he set in motion!

I love this union. This union has changed my life, and has changed my family’s life. I believe the IAFF is the baddest union on the planet! Throughout my career as a State and Local Executive Board member, Local President, and as State President, I have given my all to ensure that everything we do benefits you, the members. I will continue that commitment as 5th District VP! I would be honored to have your support and I look forward to connecting with all of you in the coming months!

I began my union career as a young man, eager to help. I cut my teeth as a trustee for my local’s charitable foundation, helping to get it off the ground and providing a way for our members to serve our community on and off the job. Since then, I have served in many different capacities, from my local and state executive boards, to becoming President of Fire Fighters Local 311 and the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin. Along the way, I have never lost sight of why we do what we do - to make the lives of our members better. I won’t lose sight of that as our DVP!
