BUILDING POWER FOR ALL LOCALS
2,800 of the 3,400 affiliates in the IAFF have under 100 members. Wisconsin has a strong contingent of those locals, and we've built a lot of unity and power by focusing our time and resources on the issues important to them.
Creating value for all locals is what Mahlon has done as President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin. Mahlon knows what leaders of small and large locals face and the services that they depend on, that’s why he’s spent his ten years as Wisconsin state president building programs that target affiliate needs, especially those locals with smaller numbers of members who truly need a united union to build their power.
